Come meet Master Tsao in person! He will teach three workshops during his Europe visit on the following topics (plus a Push Hands workshop Saturday, May 23rd in Annecy, France):
Topic One: Qigong (Chi Kung) & Self-Healing Aspects in Your Tai Chi Practice
This will be a hands-on workshop for you to learn how to balance the yin and yang in any tai chi or Qigong posture and focus the mind on specific energy points and channels to activate your inner energy flow. You will understand the basic principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine in relation to proper body alignment of your postures, for the purpose of integrating Qigong and self-healing applications in your Tai Chi practice. Tai Chi as a healing art has so much to offer, but its potential is rarely realized in practice. Master Jesse Tsao will provide you with insightful explanations for many of the deep principles essential to your advancement in Tai Chi and Qigong study.
Topic Two: Internal Martial Arts & Self-Defense Aspect in Your Tai Chi Practice The internal martial arts systems develop internal essence and energy first, then expand to the external body. The external systems emphasize skin, bone, and tendons, then gradually move inside. In self-defense, Tai Chi follows the opponent's movements rather than using hard blocking. Redirect your opponent's force to lead him into an off position, and then strike him back. This will be a hands-on workshop for you to learn Tai Chi's self-defense applications and to understand why people once called it "supreme ultimate boxing!" Based on the Tai Chi Classics, Master Jesse Tsao will reveal the mystery in a simple and practical way. You can gain insights into the deeper principles of practice for dynamic progression in your Tai Chi's martial art aspects.

Another awesome fabulous workshop yesterday! I can see the New Frame will add a whole new level to my tai chi practice. GM Zhu is an absolute treasure! I loved the pace, explanations and precise details of all of the movements. The emphasis on coiling/spiraling, subtle differences in weight shifts and movements ... and that oh so awesome jump that I can't do yet but just have to get ... well, suffice it to say ... I really like the New Frame and am looking forward to learning more! Hopefully someday I will be able to do more than just dance my way through it ;-) ñSheryl W.
Thank you so much for today's workshop. It's the first time I seen grandmaster Zhu Tiancai, and he is great. He has a very good, powerful and gentle energy! Even when showing chin-na he didn't want to hurt. He shared a lot and worked us hard! Xin Jia is interesting, but it is a whole new world! It is clear it requires a lot of skills to move the qi around, that can only be developed with a lot of practice. It was very good to practice very slowly, with all the details. The silk reeling in the afternoon were GREAT. After some time, I could really feel the benefit of all the coiling, big and small. --Alain M.
What an energetic man Grand Master Zhu Tian Cai is!!!! It was a pleasure meeting him, he has a great energy and a very nice and pleasant personality. He shares, explains and details very well. It was so easy to follow when he was standing just in front. He never tires! What an explosive energy! I enjoyed the workshop as I learnt a lot of detail and a lot of postures. I enjoyed the silk reelings that we started with in the morning and afternoon a lot! I wish we had continued longer as I was starting to feel a lot of qi and understand the way to move the waist... . I would like to spend more time on the "small circles" and the links in between each move. I was not aware of it right after the workshop but I felt an energy shift thanks to the workshop. Spending a whole day learning and practicing taiji opened up my energy level. This shows me that I "need" taiji. We all have busy and stressful lives, taiji is necessary to erase and smoothen the stress, strengthen our health and help us see the "half full glass" as opposed to the half empty glass :-) ---Izabelle M.
I really enjoyed the training and was very impressed with the skill level of both grandmaster Zhu Tiancai and yourself! Sometimes it is difficult to find people interested and skilled in the real martial arts who have a good character and are willing to openly share. There are a lot of people around with "watered down" systems and only limited knowledge of realistic applications or people who can fight but are too violent and of poor character or are just in it to make money. So I feel very lucky to have found you! --Michael S. |
